25.07.2010 - Live-ticker and results
In order to be up to date with today's race, go to the live ticker on the following website.

23.07.2010 - Drafting
I pledge to my family, fellow triathletes, Pros and Age Groupers, who all love triathlon, that I have trained without taking unauthorized substances, that I will put a fair fight, respect the rules of the race and that I will never draft, cheat, nor put in danger the life of any competitors during the race. This is a commitment I make to myself, to my fellow triathletes, to my family and friends, and to all those who love the sport of Triathlon and the Ironman Competition. Only then, I can proudly pretend, if I cross the finish line within the time limit, to say: "I AM AN IRONMAN"
19.07.2010 - Attention: information on the use of wetsuits
If the water temperature is higher than 24.5 degrees celcius, wetsuits are prohibited due to threats of overheating. Also prohibited are speedsuits, that fulfill one of the following criterias:

- Suits that include neoprene or rubber parts (except logos of sponsors)
- Suits that generate buoyancy
- Suits that are non-breathable

Common bathing suits and triathlon utensils (such as one-piece swimsuit or running trousers with a top) are allowed.

We ask all athletes to stick to these rules. If the referees spot an athlete, who disobeys, he will be disqualified from the race.

The decision, whether wetsuits are allowed or not, will be announced on Sunday morning at 6 a.m. at the latest.
